The only part of the Smith Chart that is purely resistive is the center horizontal line. Upward is inductive and downward from that line is capacitive. That's the advantage of the Smith Chart. Since

NanoVNA WebApp connects to my worse clone from Galaxy Note8 Android 8.0.0 as does Serial USB Terminal by Kai Morich a SMAYS powered hub connects by type C to Note8, and to NanoVNA by Type A to C

Really? I have used this method for years on a bunch of different Linux distros. Hold down Alt, left click and drag the window any way you want: up, down, sideways, whatever. Something ain't right
