Re: Connection to computer
Hi Larry, wx is bright overcast, 10 deg C, very nice. Thanks for comment on my question. Makes me feel better to not worry about overcharging.? 73, Bruce, VE1II

Re: Connection to computer
Hi Bruce - how's the weather way down east there? We're getting 10-20cm in Toronto today! Yes - you can leave it connected to your computer - the IP5303 chip will stop charging the battery

Re: My NanoVNA is not recognised by DFUse when using V 0.2.3 firmware
Try on different PC, possibly with different Windows version. I had similar issue on my PC but after I tried on other one it worked. After I updated firmware, it then worked even on my PC. -- 73,

Connection to computer
Would someone advise me whether it is acceptable to leave my nanovna connected to my computer for extended periods when not actually using it? Does it have circuitry for not over charging the battery?

Thanks Qrp !

Re: Correction menu option ?
Enable/disable error term apply to the measurement result. When you disable it, NanoVNA shows you uncorrected raw values (with no calibration apply).

Re: Duplexfilter tuning question
You're using Linear scale on NanoVNA display and Logmag scale on PC software. This is why there is difference. By the way, there is more functional software NanoVNA software for PC:

Correction menu option ?
Can anyone tell me what the Correction option is doing ? Applying it sends to create some kind of offset by 20db on the S11 display, but if I remove the 50 ohm load then s11 baseline is minus 20db. 73

Re: 1500Mhz, usable ?
3 average measurements enabled. Thanks for your excellent software !73 de YO4AUL

Re: 1500Mhz, usable ?
Wow. Did you do that with any averaging enabled, or is that just that you have a very good device? -- Rune / 5Q5R [email protected]> wrote:

Re: NanoVNA-Saver 0.1.5
Hello Hans-Peter, you're right: The algorithm assumes that the first -3dB point it finds is the -3dB point of the filter. I'm not certain what's a good and generic way to avoid this to allow filters

Re: Spurs around 300MHz
Did you tried NanoVNA-Q firmware? It should fix that. I also working on further improvement, but don't know if I will complete it because si5351 has complicated behavior when you trying to use it up

Re: My NanoVNA is not recognised by DFUse when using V 0.2.3 firmware
Hi Larry, I still keep trying , still no luck, running on Windows10. The devicve manager shows the device is connected to Com11, NanoVNA-Saver connects it on Com11 , no problem at all, runs fine. When

Re: 1500Mhz, usable ?
No don't, I found it really useful for checking an ADS-B RX antenna at 1090MHz. (jpole with 1/4-3/4 wave balun and shorted 1/4 wave stub filter for rtl-sdr dongle)) See attached. That output was with

1Hz, wow, that's pretty cool. I won't write off an upgrade in the future then. 73 de Andy

QRP firmware can set 1Hz steps https://github.com/qrp73/NanoVNA-Q/releases

Re: 1500Mhz, usable ?
Hi Andy, it does. Down to 1Hz, I believe? -- Rune / 5Q5R [email protected]> wrote:
