Re: edelay vs ELECTRICAL DELAY and other fun #internals
Oristo & Rune, Here is an interesting HP application note. Refer to pages 7 & 8 for explanation on using different scan steps on specific segments.

Re: CH0 LOGMAG and CH1 LOGMAG after CAL RESET (with no calibration)
Depending on the firmware you load the uncalibrated uncorrected S11 and S21 make little or a bit sense. Unless you want to understand the calibration process do not look at uncalibrated and

CH0 LOGMAG and CH1 LOGMAG after CAL RESET (with no calibration)
I changed the subject, as it seemed that we are no longer discussing the 180 degree item... And...I hope that I got this correct...still getting organized here wrt all the versions and programs. I

Re: NanoVNA newbie having problems with new unit
The SMD 50 ohm loads arrived today. They measure 51.15 ohms each (I screwed through connectors in to make sure the cap was making firm contact with the barrel) which is about 2.3% out. I guess they

Re: Dead?
Hi Bob,You can buy several chips at a time( like 5pc) from China or you can do a transplant from a cheapo power pack from a dollar store as they sometimes use the same chip. Have a look at this post:

I will try to sort some light-weight filter I glued nanoVNA shell command Python script: https://oristopo.github.io/nVhelp/html/nVcmd.py .. with a bash script to get 100 values at some frequency: $

Seems a good choice, if DIY unit parts costs exceed half that, and the intent is actual use vs fiddling.

Hi Rich - Oops, I first asked for cubic fit, but gnuplot was not converging well, so dropped back to quadratic, which IMO fit well enough to estimate RMS noise. I habitually use cubic for piece-wise

Re: Measure crystal motional parameters? Needs 1Hz frequency steps
Tcxo-s have long and short term drift. Short term drift better. Many precision time signal source available on shortwave. Easily measure drift if you have good ssb receiver and computer. Tune 1 khz

Re: Measure crystal motional parameters? Needs 1Hz frequency steps
This is actual for simple crystal oscillator with large error. But NanoVNA uses TCXO which has temperature compensation and small error. I don't think that it will be easy to add correction for TCXO.
