Re: edelay vs ELECTRICAL DELAY and other fun #internals
Erik has mentioned that the firmware (his?) disables display refresh while taking measurements. /g/nanovna-users/message/5122? I don't know if that applies to all flavours of current

edelay vs ELECTRICAL DELAY and other fun #internals
Among things which may confusingly scrog nanoVNA traces.. Using NanoVNA-H_AA_20191018.dfu, Setting by menu ELECTRICAL DELAY 50p .. then shell `edelay` reports 50.000000000 Setting by menu ELECTRICAL

Re: Voltage sensing diode
Nan, Firmware from edy555 and hugen can both be used on your device. hugen added a better power supply and DSP reset circuit but the rest of the design is essentially the same. Firmware from edy555

Re: Fixture PCB for VNA
Thanks - looks really nice. For checking SMT active devices, the engineers I used to work with, used? fixtures with toggle-clamps to hold the DUT in place.

After returned to hugen_900_aa_aug-2-19.dfu firmware, calibration goes ok. but that is very old firmware, so old that it does not even have version number. Can you point me where to download compiled

Re: How will you use your nanoVNA?
Last night I used the nanoVNA to check a newly constructed dummy load that consists of 20 x 2W parallel resistors (film) in a tin. Need to sort out a calibration for the revised connection

Re: NanoVNA-Saver 0.1.3
Hi Bryan, Good to hear that 0.3.0m works better - I tried it out as well, and it seems to work fine! :-) What does that low-pass TDR function entail? -- Rune / 5Q5R [email protected]> wrote:

Re: Voltage sensing diode
I changed D2 to a Schottky Diode. With a fully charged battery, the 3rd battery bar turns on and off. (unstable) Since I have a Hugen's NanoVNA-H, PCB V3.2, I chose to stick on with firmware

Re: Fixture PCB for VNA
I looked, and I'm not sure how to add the hash-tag. I put the BNC in the middle and made the SMA on the outside because BNC isn't going to be as accurate, and so I figured it was ok to use vertical
