Re: Owen Duffys blog closed
I am so sorry to hear this. I made a lot of use of Owen's online calculators and he reviewed a couple of projects I'd been working on (favourably). Sometimes Owen would pick up on posts I'd made to

Re: test board, how to use
As the reference plan is now at the test board level, a set of OSL terminations are required for calibration (DIY, see below). Jumpers are also useful. I have extensively used this board for crystals

Here is another YouTube story...
A friend asked me to help him diagnose an antenna problem he was having, high SWR at any power over around 200 watts, on some relatively new antenna he had installed

I suspect that it will instead catch grime and wear particles, especially in the crevices of the female sockets, making a nice grinding compound to cause unnecessary wear on your connectors.

Re: test board, how to use
I was advised by email that The Test Board from nanovna.com has some extra connections that are not on the SDR Kits board.
Rows C, D & E are the same but A/B and F/G have some additional connected

I was not aware that Owen discontinued his website. I enjoyed his insights. A great loss. I hope he is OK.
You can find owenduffy.net, and its predecessor vk1od.net, on the Internet Archive,

Is there any chance of someone else hosting the info on their site?

Owen will be sorely missed.
I had a habit of saving his excellent blog posts by performing a "print to pdf" and saving them to an Owen Duffy folder. I am always referencing them.

Re: test board, how to use
The board you have is derived from a test board designed by DG8SAQ. The main section can be used as a test platform to be used with your NanoVNA (or tinySA if you have one). You can install the

Re: test board, how to use
There is a circuit schematic associated with this printed circuit board. Some of the pads in the center section are connected together and some are not. Some are connected to the center ground plane
