Re: Driver for nanVNA
I have performed the above recommendations and in addition I tried to connect the NanoVNA ro a separate laptop which uses Windows 7. It will not automatically install in Windows 7 as it did not

Re: Strange "Scatter" Sweep Traces
I did some -H4 measurements of a 75 ohm 0805 SMD resistor using a SMA test jig I built (picture below). I find it works well up to several hundred MHz. Attached are some plots using NanoVNA Saver in

Re: Display Lowest SWR & Frequency In Scan
Sure. Select a marker from the marker menu, then set Marker / Search Minimum, and then select Marker / tracking. It will find the bottom of the trace on each sweep. The numerical values are at the

Display Lowest SWR & Frequency In Scan
Hi - I do this with the NanoSaver PC software, but is there a firmware version or setting that will allow me to run a range scan (without having the VNA connected to the PC) and display the current

Re: S-Band NanoVNA
The quality of your measurements at S-band will depend a lot upon the quality of your calibration standards and the accuracy of their definitions. I use a 6GHz LibreVNA for my consulting work so I

Re: nano vna small one is it the F
I use this combination also but my indoor model is the H4. I actually have two sets and affixed UHF to SMA and BNC to SMA adapters since I use these connectors. Make sure you get the -F hardware

Re: Strange "Scatter" Sweep Traces -- Up Date
After building and measuring a few more DL devices, the ones using large SMD resistors are "nosier" than metal/carbon film through-hole versions. Even so, Return Loss/Impedance is MUCH better with the

Re: S-Band NanoVNA
Hello Manfred, removing R98 on the liteVNA62 will solve the problem of power consumption at shutdown.

Re: S-Band NanoVNA
I also bought a LiteVNA, the small one (2.8" screen), for UHF and above. I use it mainly to measure antennas, lines, filters, etc, on the 5.7GHz band. It works fine. My only complaint about the

Re: nano vna small one is it the F
NanoVNA-F for outdoors use, -H for indoors. The little 2.8 inch -H is quite inexpensive, and also works well with PC software (NanoVNA-Saver and NanoVNA-APP), showing on a larger screen. With the PC

Re: nano vna small one is it the F
Hello Siegfried, The Deepelec NanoVNA-F uses slightly different electrical design to the original "edy555" NanoVNA and so does not use the original PCB layout. So there are no "unused" crystal pads.

Re: Freeze after upgrade. NanoVNA-H
Your chip looks like a 5351 since it has the right markings and was produced in 2000. See description below. The chips are now readily available again with stock at DigiKey and Mouser. It is a 10 pin

Re: Freeze after upgrade. NanoVNA-H
NanoVNA's made by Hugen with a 2.8" screen are -H and with a 4" screen -H4. Copies or modifications of his PCB layout and circuit design often use the -H/H4 markings but are not the same PCB layout
