The original Nanos could not adjust brightness. If you tilt the display when looking at it, you'll see the brightness of the grid changes. This is due to the screen technology used (TFT) and its size.

I am not sure why people are having so much problems in connecting a Bluetooth module to their VNA. All that needs to be done is remove the pins from the BT modual, solder 4 wires to it and connect
