Re: Identifying ferrite mix material?
You could wind an inductor and measure its inductance to determine its permeability, but you would need to do this measurement over a wide range of frequencies in order to be able to determine

DiSlord Firmware for NanoVNA H4
#firmware
Hello, can anyone confirm that the latest version from DiSlord v1.0.53 works with NanoVNA H4? Comments for some version releases clearly indicate applicable devices, but not the last few.

Re: Identifying ferrite mix material?
Hello Luis- I'm not sure how simple you want the method to be, but there was an earlier nanovna-users thread on this subject. <rummages thru topics via the handy built-in groups.io message search

Millions of USA citizens buy on AliExpress so that must be something with your card provider. Try paying with PayPal.

Re: Measuring an Antenna - Am I doing it right?
Remember to also connect the coax braid to the outside or backshell of the Ch 00 connector when you make a measurement with the center conductor inserted directly into the center of the Ch 00

Re: Measuring an Antenna - Am I doing it right?
I removed the BNC connector and temporarily put the center conductor of the coax directly into Ch0 of the nanoVNA, and it seems like the antenna does in fact work (the antenna needs to be tuned, but

Re: Measuring an Antenna - Am I doing it right?
Your opening remarks would indicate that you set the stimulus after calibrating. Did you really mean in that order. I think the NanoVNA requires that you always calibrate AFTER setting the stimulus.
