Barry, Some versions of the Smith chart include a scaled "ruler" calibrated in RL, SWR, and reflection coefficient. The ruler can be either cut out and used directly to measure distance from the chart

It seems to me that a logical way of looking at the Reflection Coefficient or the SWR on a Smith Chart is to plot a circle with the perimeter representing all of the impedances that have a given

You have to use the DiSlord firmware to get screenshots which is here: /g/nanovna-users/files/Dislord%27s%20Nanovna%20-H%20Firmware/NanoVNA%20v1.0.39.rar if you have the 2.8 inch
