"merely a modification" ???
No disrespect intended - but if I could 'merely' write modifications like that I'd be Very pleased with myself !!
Kind Regards

Re: need a startup guide that describes the behavior of the LEDs on the side
The two blue leds are connected to the ADF4350 and tell it is in lock.
They will go off when the ADF4350 are powered down (aka scan stops before 140Mhz)
There are two more leds on the PCB. One is to

Re: Strange problem with Dislord v1.0.39
Hi DiSlord,
*This one* seems to work! I was able to properly calibrate the small span range. Thank you for very much for the help!

Re: Connect Antenna Trap to NanoVNA
And here is an excellent treatment of calculating the trap L/C values or ratio as mentioned in my prior post for an antenna dipole with a set of given physical dimensions.

Re: need a startup guide that describes the behavior of the LEDs on the side
Since there are now many flavors of NANO's out there but the ones that I have with the 4 red LED's on the side indicate the state of the battery charge. While charging all 4 will be on with one of

Re: Strange problem with Dislord v1.0.39
There is no need for that:
dfu-util -d 0483:df11 -a 0 -s 0x08000000:leave -D build/ch.bin

Re: Strange problem with Dislord v1.0.39
Ok, in that case, you need to use the dfu manager utility that comes with DeFuSe to convert from hex to dfu. You'll find it in the stmicro folder in the Start menu on windows.?
I think it's on PG 28

Re: New open source VNA released - excellent performance claimed
I guess this finally ends the usefulness of my 20MHz-2GC GR-1607A transfer admittance bridge! Maybe I will put it on the fireplace mantel!

Re: Strange problem with Dislord v1.0.39
HI DiSlord,
This is what I have been doing. It seems that there are times that the source is turned off (or maybe at wrong frequency) when this happens. Does that give you a clue to what might be

Re: Connect Antenna Trap to NanoVNA
Hi Ed,
Hope this may help...
The story of the antenna response and the trap response is best illustrated with the figures shown. All measurements can be done as a one port. So the S11 channel 0

Re: Strange problem with Dislord v1.0.39
you can made calibration in more big range
After only change start/stop frequency (in most cases calibration interpolation work very good, now used 401 calibration points and get less errors)

Re: New open source VNA released - excellent performance claimed
Well, if it can do passable spectrum analysis as well, I will probably invest in one; I seem to be a glutton for these things (a nanovna, 3x V2 vnas and a tinysa so far, -oh, and a houseful of radio

Re: Strange problem with Dislord v1.0.39
Very strange. I got the same bad result with this version too. It's almost as if the source is not on when I reach the THRU calibration step. If I go back and repeat the THRU, it seems to sometimes

Re: New open source VNA released - excellent performance claimed
There is a very long thread on this group about this exact subject.
I won't reiterate the consensus, but some NanoVNA manufacturers are going to be offering N connectors as a result.
My post wasn't
