I guess there are a few on the list with access to Agilent or other high-end VNAs. It would be nice to see a side-by-side comparison made between the H4 and the high-end, and a pdf or YouTube video

Open it and check if there is a battery installed - there may not be. I doubt the piece of film has anything to do with a battery as the 450ma battery is connected via a header.

Advice please on battery charging
Just bought a NanoVNA. Powers up fine from the USB port on switch on and charging led flashes and ON led illuminates. After charging unit wont power up with USB lead disconnected as if battery not

Maybe better thinking of making the vna more robust with a bigger screen and a jog switch that doesent self destruct,needs better connectors and a metal case imho.

As you have many switches anyway you may consider a switchable high pass filter to get rid of the fundamental and thus being able to use the 3rd harmonic. Not sure if your mixer can handle up to 9GHz

Gabriel, These linearity problems are solved T-Check and other linearity tests show good results, I was able to correctly measure S11 and S21 of a 1.8GHz low pass filter and 2GHz band pass filter On

The ICOM IC-7300 has a 4 inch touchscreen display had has been a big success so I think lots of hams and experimenters will find it sufficient. Have you looked at the Android app? Mike N2MS
