Re: @edy555 - signs of life on Github
Larry asked me to delete the test images I sent. I thought of two potential
ways that I could do that:
1. Remove the images from the files repository (which is impossible as
there is no files

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to edit your posts?

Re: @edy555 - signs of life on Github
I don't think that is possible with my user rights.
There is no File menu on the left side of the home page of groups-io like I
see in other groups.
There is a crossed out option stating I can't edit

Re: @edy555 - signs of life on Github
They're beautiful!
Ok, now you can delete them so they don't take up what's left of the 1GB of forum storage. ..?
Thanks

Re: @edy555 - signs of life on Github
Thanks that is good news. Nothing is more wasteful of space than images
that nobody can see!
Here is a test - one png (67K) and one jpg (109K)

Re: @edy555 - signs of life on Github
The moderator just made a change to reduce the compression - you might want to try a test...
Unfortunately, a free forum on goups.io only allows 1GB of storage, which in this day and age, can fill up

Re: @edy555 - signs of life on Github
This is a good point. Does anyone know if the crazy image sizing can be
fixed on Groups.io?
It seems every picture I get in the email digest is a horrible postage
stamp size low rez thing.

Re: @edy555 - signs of life on Github
updated: I captured the commit by edy555.
Hopefully, he can interface with Hugen and there can be one all encompassing repository for the firmware.
I'd like to add some local SD card storage routines

Re: Latest case
I think what you have is great. I would not get obsessed with all the writing and decal stuff. What is on there is fine as is... IMHO.
Oh, one other note, not sure if this is an issue or not. I place

I designed and printed a simple one piece case for my unit. Added a small bump out to help protect the rotary switch. Need to use slightly longer screws for mounting. Depending on thickness of

Yes, I probably can. I'll play with it. I added a better cutout for the on/off sw. I am going to see if I can fill in the writing. since it is on the side, it is hard to do multi color. I tried a

Wow. Looks great. I'll take 10.
The only comment I have Frank, does it make sense or is it possible to bump up the case near that joystick up and down toggle switch? It still appears more EXPOSED

@edy555 - signs of life on Github
I noticed an updated readme on the original NanoVNA design page. Unless I'm
mistaken there seems to be a new URL for kits. Takes you to the same 'out
of stock' page but I suppose it's possible he's

Yes I know that it has the protective still film over display. Because I¡¯m not sure yet if I send it back to the seller. Because it doesn't match what I bought. The photo above is from

Re: Only two trace
Hi Colin -
Your nanoVNA has a front cover that appears to be riveted on;
- does it have shielding ?
(should be visible between back cover and circuit board, near connectors)
- how to remove
