Yes, the various clones 'should' work the same way. As for placing your unit into DFU mode, the contacts only need to be shorted at power-up, that is why I soldered a small button switch there. After

Updating F/W on the white Gecko unit is simple: I placed a momentary push button switch on my unit - see my previous posts and photos. You'll need to ensure the DFU driver is installed. Do this
