Hi Chris,

Which phone (make and model)? Which Android version?

Best,

Any ideas, please?

C connector to C connector cable which works fine using NanoSaver on my

Re: Upgrade of older VNA

Hi Mike,
you can find more information on my website. In the beginning there were several developers, currently DiSlord who is still contributing. I recommend that you download the pdf marked with his name, it contains links where you can download the firmware. Since you are planning to do this for the first time, read on for what you need to do. Link:

In the upper left corner is the language selector, if it doesn't automatically switch to your language - you can select it here.

Howdy;
Got time to work with some of the toys I got in the past. I have an older NanoVNA I bought some time ago and decided to learn how to operate using a book on Amazon on VNA operation.
Learning lots, including some features missing like the battery icon that is supposed to be on the left side. In the section on upgrading the software, The book said if a button was missing on the screen that I had to jumper 2 points on the board (which I found) .
Question, which software should I use? When I power the VNA up it says "GEN111.TAOBAO.COM" on the screen. I am sure this is an old clone, so I am just learning before I get into the real machines I got from R&L.
Suggestions appreciated.
Mike

Re: Android NanoVNA app

Mike,
Yes, in this. You can do it somewhere else, only when you start Wine, a window opens and it's there next time.

Which Documentation folder did you put the .exe file in?

Was it /home/pi/Documents or Wine's virtual My Documents?

Re: Email send by groups.io are bounced

Yes, we have been having trouble with Spamcop and Spamhaus for some time now. The creator of groups.io has been working with both to get them to get us off the list of blocked servers, but this has not been straightforward and is still an ongoing effort.

Re: Tx port input resistors blown

Hi Jim,
Thanks for feedback,

The values on mine are slightly different, two of them were burned so bad as I can?t read the values so
I am going to get the replacement values as per the schematic you sent that also matches up to many others I seen.
my nanovna model is the original I think as it doesn?t have any suffixes such as -H

Shane

Re: Tx port input resistors blown

Hi Roger,

the model is "NanoVNA" No -H or any other suffixes
I bought it in May of 2021
