Re: sd card "fail to write"
Yes, those inexpensive Patriot cards are the same ones I found to work. But some 32GB cards also work, as do old 2GB and 8GB cards. It depends on whether the card supports the SPI mode, which the nano

Doug, is there an obvious way I can identify which version VNA I have via inspection of the circuit board? I have a 2.8¡± that is probably 3 years old. I do know that there is no ¡°config¡± menu

Hello Giorgio, If you are considering the NanoVNA-F, the latest hardware version is now called the DeepVNA-101. The new version is the same basic machine as the NanoVNA-F, but it now has a rotary

Yes, sort of. Compare the NanoVNA measurements (like SWR, and maybe impedance values) with the claims made for your design. If they're close, you got it right. But it's really nice to have the nanoVNA

I have an early (3 years old) 2.8 inch NanoVNA (updated to current firmware, though) and a NanoVNA-F. IF you will use your NanoVNA outdoors - get the -F. The screen of my 2.8 inch -H model is

But on the other hand, the original NanoVNA is significantly lower price, and doesn't have the electronic switch on the input that is ESD sensitive. If you're going on a group buy and getting a

Re: Determining OCFD total length and split points

Are you trying to get a measurement of length (feet, or meters), or SWRs, or something else? If you measured the wire lengths when you made the antenna, do you not remember the actual measurements?

Thank you all!! My 80m OCFD is based very closely on Rick¡¯s (DJ0IP) work. I aimed for a ~20% split. It has a 4:1+cmc up at the feed point and coax after that to the rig. No tuner and QRP uBITX

Sure - but there are people (like me) who use email as their modus operandi. I'd rather read and delete or save. It's just habit, and "not on time" delivery does kind of disrupt that. It's more of a
