I just purchased a USB C cable at the Dollar Store for, you guessed it, a
buck. I have no idea if it's just for charging or also communication.

My H4 from R&L Electronics, came with two (2) USB cables. One had USB-A and USB-C connectors on it and the other had USB-C on both ends. You can charge and connect to your computer using either one of them. It all depends on what type of USB connectors your computer or other device uses.

And, as has been mentioned in an earlier reply in this thread, all USB-C connectors can be plugged-in without regard to which way is up like with the older style USB connectors.

USB-C works with either orientation.

Best Buy sells a USB-this to USB-anything else. It's well worth having
around.

You listed the requirements in your post; USB A to USB C. You just need to insure that it is also a data cable as well as a charging cable.

I have a line isolator to restrict rf coming in to shack. I would like to measure the impedance it offers on the 17 meter band. Is there a simple way to do this with the nanovna? I have read to pdfs in the files section but the setup looks too complicated for my simple mind.
