Try to install the latest from the ttrftech GitHub repo, calibrate the screen and then the RF and see if that fixes everything. FW for the H and older is all the same but

I only got beeps to and no scanning on an older firmware release. Apparently OneOfeleven's program requires firmware that supports a newer data transfer mode.
