If you need good 50ohm match use a 10dB attenuator between DUT and CH1 input Calibrate thru using the attenuator and you loose a bit of dynamic range but get very good 50ohm match. -- NanoVNA Wiki:

Re: Nanovna and MacBook
I've successfully used NanoVNA Saver with my MacBook Pro using VMware Fusion and Windows 10. I've not tried anything that runs on Mac OSX directly. The MFJ 259A does some of the same basic

Thanks for your suggestions. I purchased two of these (one for a student), and both of them have the same response. Is this particular to the NanoVNA-H? Does anyone else experience this? I fear this

Nanovna and MacBook
I am thinking about getting a nanovna, is the Mac operating system usable with them. I am expecting to use it in place of my MFJ 259A. Will it be everything I wish it would be? If I get a heads up

Actually, it looks that this can be done and the CH1 50 Ohm to be measured just fine. Specifically fot the H4 the schematic shows that this can be done (nanoVNA switched off of course) ->

Don't do this The input of the CH1 mixer is DC decoupled so an ohm meter will measure a wrong value. -- NanoVNA Wiki: /g/nanovna-users/wiki/home NanoVNA Files:

Re: New H4 Model Received from R & L Electronics
I did not test the S-A-A (V2) sub-850 MHz vs NanoVNA (bad clone), but at 850-950 MHz, the S-A-A is way beter. Also way better than Tom Bayer's VNWA. Attached two measurements from the same antenna.
