The material is silver-plated brass, directly nanovna "hangs" in the air, as it were, but has adjustment with nuts for stiffness. It does not have a very rigid attachment to the base.

Hi Jean. The active antenna is a one port just like a Passive, however with an active element present. So you need to limit the input power if you want to probe the port where the antenna element is
