Re: what does your NanoVNA circuit board look like?
I got the white unit, as you described.
Did yours come with a battery? I'd like to connect a battery to it but I'm wondering what might mounted on the pads just to the lower right of the battery pads, below the coil. Also, does anyone know what P1 is for? Is that what needs to be shorted to place the unit into DFU mode for flashing? Speaking of which, has anyone attempted to reflash the unit yet? Cheers, Larry |

I can load and execute NanoVNA V1.0.1 on my Windows 10 x64 laptop. Tried to load a s2p-file but get "Unhandeled exception". Was a standard s2p file as used by Ansoft Designer, so I do not know why it was rejected. So ist there anything special in s2p files used by nanoVNA? Any experience? |

My version only has 2 traces. I saw somewhere there is a 4 trace version. I'm not a SW person, I'm hardware I guess I'll have to reach out to some SW people I know

Free gift with NanoVNA
On 2 June I bought a NanoVNA on EBay.
On 19 June I receive a small parcel with a blue tassel in it. The tracking number on the parcel was the same as listed for the NanoVNA. Now EBay thinks that the VNA has been delivered. I contacted the seller and he stated the the VNA was to be shipped when it arrived to him from the manufacture and that he was tracking it. The seller is topcyberday and has a 98.9% positive feedback with 1840 transactions. My concern is that EBay will think that the VNA has been delivered and that I will have no recourse if I do not receive the VNA. Anyone with experience with this seller? Ii had a similar experience with the eBay seller pincei-de. See my previous email.?But in my case the letter which accompanied the gift stated anohte rtracking number and carrier.A few days alter i got my nano vna.So far so good, battery included, cal kit included, but the load of the cal kit is a reverse connector i.e. female insgtaead of male.

In any case, don't worry. Just make sure you include pictures of the package that came (showing all details)
and the content of it if or when you need to file a claim. Ordered a VNA, seller no longer listed
Last week I ordered a NanoVNA on ebay from a seller in Hong Kong. Ebay later sent me a message stating that they had dropped the seller (idesheng999) and saying "This user is no longer registered on eBay".
Hopefully it will arrive; if not, ebay will refund my payment, but it certainly will delay my getting a hold of the VNA. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this seller or this situation? Stuart K6YAZLos Angles, California USA |

I remade NanoVNA based on edy555 (), but modified
some circuits, added battery management circuits, and redesigned the PCB. I developed a PC control software can export Touchstone (snp) files which can be used for various radio design and simulation software.The improved frequency algorithm can use the odd harmonic extension of si5351 to support the measurement frequency up to 900MHz. I sell at cost price in the online store . Because it's open source hardware, I also shared my circuit diagram,it was soon cloned. I found that the white version with a gecko on it was a very bad clone. |
