Re: FW: Nano VNA not starting
Removing the covers didn't help either.
I've also tried to disconnect/connect the battery again.
No luck there.

Re: FW: Nano VNA not starting
I would try to loosen or remove the top cover. Sometimes the cover presses the screen at some point and this causes a malfunction.

Re: FW: Nano VNA not starting
I thought I did. But I'm clearly missing something.
Do I need to load a suitable firmware?
Unable to see from the user guide if that's what I'm supposed to do first.

Re: S21 Drive capability
It was almost the same with the 10 dB as the 20 dB pads. SWR in the passband was 1.0 to 1.0 without a pad. With the pad is meaningless.

Re: S21 Drive capability
what did the S11 look like without the pad?
What happens with a 10dB pad instead of the 20?

Re: S21 Drive capability
Howard,
The problem could be match at the CH0 port. I checked my -H4 and -H and they both had 25dB or better return loss to 900MHz. Can you measure the Port 0 return loss on your NanoVNA? Note that

S21 Drive capability
I have been testing LPFs and found that I had filter characteristics that did not make sense. I had much more ripple in the filters then design and simulation showed. I added a 20 dB attenuator to the

All 3 of us have RigExpert AA-230 Zoom units or better. I also have

Check R&L Electronics, They have a full compliment of connectors/adapters and coax types. Also check msg4u.com for hardline surplus cables and connectors/adapters as well.

Re: Inexpensive source for RG-58 50 ohm coax, SMA connectors and/or preassembled?
Hit & miss as they say, DX Engineering use to sell good coax in the past but in the past year on 2 separate occasions I got BAD cabled from them that were made in China. You get what u pay for!
