Re: NanoVNA-Saver 0.2.0
I tried to use the TDR on the Saver program, but it shows cable lenghts from 8 meters to 4 kilometers, depending on what I dunno. I have not yet found a procedure how to do TDR. w.

Re: NanoVNA-Saver 0.2.0
Hi Andy, Thanks for your comments! I'm not entirely sure what the NanoVNA returns via the serial port when changed to TDR mode - but since NanoVNA-Saver does have its own TDR function built in, I

Nico going Luc! Good pictures as well. I will be doing something like that tonight :-) in Dordrecht, NL. I will be focussing on the Smith Chart in the nanoVNA and applications of that, skipping as

Hi All, Last friday, I gave a 4 hour presentation on the nanoVNA for the local radio club in Ostend, Belgium. It was attended by over 50 people, see a short report here

Re: Screen replacement?
Thanks for that good info. I ordered the 3.2" touch screen. Cost at present is 11 Euro. Thanks also to Herman, ON1BES, for upgrade documentation. I need no extension parts, as already I have a larger

Re: First PCB pictures of the V2
If you can point out concrete examples with evidence of where we are "stealing intellectual property", you are welcome to bring the case to your local state department of commerce.

Re: First PCB pictures of the V2
S-A-A (V2) hardware is a completely new design from scratch. There is nothing that's bears any resemblance to the edy555 design, except for the use of si5351 to cover low frequencies. We have

Re: Choke Series resonant frequency measurement
I agree Alan, GDO or equivalent should be the best method IMO also. @Henry: If you use NanoVNA, it needs to be calibrated on a narrow freq interval, it has only 101 points, easy to miss a deep

New extended Tutorial Version 1.5. for the NanoVNA-H
Hello Friends, I have my tutorial extended by a chapter "The NanoVNA-H used up to 1500 (1300) MHz" and uploaded to my Homepage ( www.gunthard-kraus.de) as Version 1.5. The chapter contains also a 110

Re: Calibration Algorithm #calibration
Being mathematical identical the standards being NOT ideal have identical impact, even the uncertainty regions will be identical. The formula I provided for comparison and is proven to be identical is

GIN&PEZ; Am I correct in my interpretation of this that incorporating standards with correction has - in this particular case - moved the measured result closer to the higher of the uncertainty

Re: Calibration Algorithm #calibration
Thanks Jeff; Too many new tools tied to learning about this. I don¡¯t know which one to learn first. :-) I¡¯m seeing universal agreement on the equivalence of the computations, so I¡¯m comfortable

Re: Calibration Algorithm #calibration
Erik; The most recent posts by GIN&PEZ is shedding some new light on this. I am seeing additional data that leads me to believe that my understanding still remains somewhat off track. I also see hints

Re: Calibration Algorithm #calibration
The GIN&PEZ equation certainly seems to give the same result as the standard one-port 3-term correction equations. Here's a quick Matlab example I wrote, using the GIN&PEZ terminology and values

Found it on the english Aliexpress site, but when I went to pay they started wanting jpeg scans of my credit card, drivers license and other stuff. They can stick that where the sun doesn't shine.
