Re: PCB material fabricated NanoVNA chassis
Ken, You can place a small piece of felt across the switch opening (on the inside) and just make a few slits in it for the controls to poke through. That will keep out dust and pocket lint... Regards,

Re: A simple, and reasonably accurate way of simply entering the properties of WELL ENGINEERED calibration kits.
Dave, very interesting. But I'm a bit confused by the part I've quoted, above. It seems to me that the measured angles should be on the order of (very roughly) -34 and +146 degrees for open and short,

Re: Finally I found out how to order a NanoVNA-H
This whole CC resistor discussion is meaningless for all of us who use USB 1,2 or 3 version from host side and original USB cable !!!! They presence have only sense when you connect NanoVNA to host's

Re: Are there any guidelines for hacking the firmware?
IMO, embedded firmware changes beyond trivial want debugging and logging/tracing capability, which for nanoVNA typically involves an ST-Link V2 ( < US$2, e.g. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293210793177) ..

A simple, and reasonably accurate way of simply entering the properties of WELL ENGINEERED calibration kits.
This might particularly interest Jeff Anderson, and Kurt since I know he did some work on cal kits. I thought of a reasonably simple way to define the properties of well engineers calibration kits

Re: vna saver 0.11-0.12
I do know that I haven't seen those errors since upgrading to newer firmware, such as 0.2.3. So I think that might be a viable solution in general, along with calibrating the device. If it's just a

Re: vna saver 0.11-0.12
Hi I visited J?rgen, OZ1BNN, yesterday where we tested his NanoVNA which if probably from the same batch as mine. His NanoVNA has the "non floating error" galore. We did try to calibrate but in vain.

Re: vna saver 0.11-0.12
Hi Dean, generally, you get this message when the NanoVNA sends data to the application which falls outside the expected range of valid data. Far outside, in fact. There are two steps to remedy this:

Yes, that's easy enough 2) Set up the compiler environment > What operating systems are supported? What is for the compiler / linker? This is where some sort of document would be good. 3) Make the
