Hi Lawrence, glad you got the -H4. Since yours can come from a prototype, I think similar to mine. I received it at the end of January, among the first. What I encountered was posted in the forum on

Hi Lawrence, Sorry to hear about the problems. If you can get into the touchscreen calibration mode, please recal the touch surface as that can solve some of your posted issues. The jog switch does

Probably as balun to provide the bridge with balanced input or to convert the bridge balance to the reflection receiver -- NanoVNA Wiki: /g/nanovna-users/wiki/home NanoVNA Files:

Re: ON7DQ_NanoVNA_Presentation_English
Hi Luc, I just downloaded your version 2.02 March 2020 english PDF and there is no difference on slide 25 from the Dec 2019 PDF. It still shows: NODE = highest z or maximum voltage ANTINODE = lowest z

Re: Calibration with nanovna saver(PC)

I think that calibrating with the nanoVNA saver is better, because you can divide the frequency span in segments so you can have a lot more that 101 points hence a more precise calibration. Also

Calibration with nanovna saver(PC)
#calibration
I am using nanovna saver(PC) with nanovna-h for my needs. What is the use of calibration menu provided in nanovna-saver?. Calibrating with nanovna-saver is just enough, effective and correct?

Hmm... interested to know what's going on with the void in the PCB. Likely to do with the directional bridge, but what? / Gerry

Re: ON7DQ_NanoVNA_Presentation_English
There was still a small error in slide 25 in the English version. The drawing was correct, but in the text I mixed up the meaning of NODE and ANTINODE. Now corrected, without changing the version

There is almost no difference in the amount of commenting between the various nanoVNA branches. You can easily do on github a comparison between branches to find out. But all are fairly easy to

Which NanoVNA source code is best documented ?

Yet another "off the beaten path" , and very polite request. Feel free to ignore it. The NanoVNA is "open source" - hence many "dupes" exist. I would be very grateful to hear from some experienced

This confused me as well at first. I was expecting to see impedance expressed as something like 10 + j240 ohms on the smith chart mode. Actually these are the resistance and reactance values, not real

It was very definitely the cable. After buying a new cable, windows recognised the device automatically, no messing with drivers was needed, and NanoVNA Saver worked first time. Apparently some
