March 28th NWS meeting in Duluth Cancelled
The annual response team meeting has been canceled due to the COVID19 issues. All travel at NWS has been stopped until the end of April so no Skywarn training either. Watch for more information as we work through the pandemic.? I will hope we can keep the same protocols in place as last year.? I will have an email out shortly about the Fusion links we will be monitoring from NWS Duluth for this severe weather season.? Be safe and thanks for being part of the response effort. ? As you get into the registration you will only be participating on
Day 2, May 7th.? Once you click yes on Day two you will see that you can
register for the Washburn County location.?

Our remote event will be held at
SPOONER Fire Station ¨C Administrative Building ¨C .?

ALL participants are required to register but
only one participant will register their agency¡¯s Platform (i.e. Command Posts, Mobile Communications ¨C Fire Trucks, Squads, etc.).

Same place as the last several years.??Carol KC0MAK has retired and Joe Moore is the new Warning Coordinator meteorologist.??Joe was at last years meeting and has?had a chence to meet quite a few of the responders and groups.?? We will cover any changes in last years protocols and repeaters.? Also discuss possibly using digital links for passing information.?
