Just a reminder about this weekend for Field Day.

If you don't have a local Field Day operation to go to, then head to Duluth.
The ARAC Field Day Operation will be in full swing.

Location
Spirit Mountain, Duluth, Upper parking lot.

Access:
I-35, Exit? 249, Boundary Ave
Travel south, past McDonald.
Road T's at Mountain Dr, turn left toward Spirit Mountain.
Travel into the Spirit Mountain complex.
Turn left at Spirit Mountain Place.
Field Day Operation in first parking lot to the left.? (Look for the towers!)

We expect to start setting up at 9am on Saturday.
And we would love lots of help to set up, and also to take down on Sunday at noon.

Get on the air and help make contacts.
Remember that there is always Elmers there to help you and be your control operator.
No matter your license class, we can get you on the air! From civilian to Extra!

ARAC-Training:
Listen to the radio.

Hear what they say and how they say it.
Learn the rhythm. Learn how to break a pileup.

Then we put you on the logging system.

Learn what you need to give. Learn what you need to give.
Learn how slow you need to give and take that info.

Then you get to put out some radio waves.
??? Read the script. Get on the air.
??? Break those pileups! Make the contacts!

And of course...?? HAVE FUN!
