Mass Casualty Exercise Invite Barron County
Good Afternoon All,? ? We've scheduled a mass casualty exercise in the Village of Turtle Lake and we're looking for community volunteers that are interested in participating as simulated patients. The exercise will be held on Saturday, May 4th from 9:00am to 1:00pm, and participants will be asked to arrive at 8:00am for briefing and setup.? ? Volunteers must be at least 16 years old (13-15 years old can participate but must be accompanied by a parent). Thursday April 11th Tornado Test Drill
All, This is a reminder that the week of April 8th thru 12th is?Severe Weather Awareness Week?in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Amateur Radio Spotters across our area are invited to participate with?BWRA SKYWARN?in the Tornado Test Drill on?THURSDAY APRIL 11. Below is our schedule for the Lampson, Barronett and Siren Repeaters 1:15 PM - NWS issues a "Test Tornado Watch" 1:30 PM - BWRA Skywarn Net will be activated (Please check in and monitor Net until it concludes) 1:45 PM - NWS issues "Test Tornado Warning" (Listen for Sirens in your area and report if heard to Net Control) 2:00 PM - Skywarn Net Closed Nick Mueller ? |

We have a daily informal 75 meter Net on 3.966 mhz Monday thru Friday starting at 8am and runs for 30 or 40 minutes. Topics vary from ham radio projects, weather, airplanes, music, motorcycles, travel, or anything else that perks an interest. NO politics are allowed!! NWS Annual Conference March 30th 10am
The annual Duluth Skywarn conference is Saturday March 30th? at 10AM.? Location is Salem Lutheran Church 4715 Hermantown Rd, Hermantown, MN 55811 Meet personal from the Duluth National Weather Service that we communicate with during Skywarn activation's.
