I noticed with 4.2.19, that if the PTT is pressed in the Quisk GUI in SSB mode now a Tone is generated (as in CW). This seems wrong and it does not happen with Quisk 4.2.13.
I use HiQSDR hardware in case this only happens with certain hardware.

I don't observe it. Do you see it on the screen and hear it when FDX is turned on? Or in another way?

I can hear it out of the speakers. No fdx, just ordinary SSB simplex. I did not check if it's really sent out. Maybe it's just the Sidetone generator activated. I can just say with 4.2.13 it does not happen with exactly the same configuration.

Linux or Windows?

I am using Linux only. Sorry, forgot to mention that.
Maybe it has something todo with the Midi device i was integrating into my setup yesterday. But in the release notes i read that Jim changed something with respect to remote GUI integration of the HiQSDR.
Although i am using the HiQSDR directly (no remote GUI) this might have broken something?

I have Windows now. I will check in Linux (Ubuntu) without remote control on Saturday or Sunday. I also have HiQSDR.

I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble running HiQSDR on Linux because I'm a beginner on Linux. I will solve my problems.

OK, I've solved my HiQSDR problems on Linux. Yes, I hear sidetone in SSB when PTT is pressed in any screen (Graph, WFall, Scope and others). Slider SideTone adjusts the volume.This is a bug.
