Quisk Version 4.2.8 September 2022

 

This is an update to the new Quisk Remote feature by Ben, AC2YD.?Please test.

Midi now works with the control head. For HermesLite2, the RfLna is correctly initialized. I changed the ports to 4585:TCP control; 4586: graph data; 4587:radio sound and mic. This should work correctly with NAT.

The main documentation page docs.html which is available from the Help button now describes the remote feature in more detail.

Hello Jim,

Thanks for the continued work on Quisk. There is a regression bug with the favorites where when you click to a favorite that changes modes, the mode does not change on the remote but changes OK on the ctl-head. The work around is to manually change to another mode and back to the desired mode on the ctl-head which the remote follows perfectly. If not running the remote on your local machine you can easily see if it changed by operating "FDX" and observing the output from "Spot" or "PTT".

I must say that you are making it very difficult to find a bug nowadays hi.

I have just installed the new quisk version on a raspberry pi and a ubuntu laptop for testing with my HL2. Os on both laptop and rpi is latest.
On the remote (laptop) the quisk_logfile.txt pops up with the attached content.

Hello Niels,

You need to enter the widget file path on the Hardware screen. It is?hermes/quisk_widgets.py, and it is on the drop down list.
