Re: Quisk Version 4.2.19 May 2023
Mike, I installed the latest version of quisk (4.2.19). The response to "ZZAR;" from quisk was "ZZAR+039;". From your comment, I conclude that is the PowerSDR format. I can certainly make that work

Re: An audio start-up hitch in 4.1.77 running on a Pi 400
Well, version 4.1.77 is what you get when you start from the RPi package repository. Cowards like me try to use the pre-packaged stuff whenever possible. In this case, after manually resolving some

Re: Quisk Version 4.2.19 May 2023
Mike, Quisk 4.1.77, the version pre-packaged for Raspberry Pi OS, responds to "ZZAR;" with a message that the command is not implemented. I need to do the work to install the newer version of Quisk to

Re: Can't compile Windows Missing sys/time.h
BINGO! Dang.. I figured that 3.11 being newer wouldn't be a problem.. installed 3.10 and works right away.. dang. How many downloads I did to try and get it to work with compilers ! :) Thanks Niels.

Re: Can't compile Windows Missing sys/time.h
Alright, I will force a install of 3.10 instead of what I have now and see if that works.

Re: Can't compile Windows Missing sys/time.h
I made the same mistake a few days ago. Read the documentation! --- doc snip --- You must first install the most recent supported version of 64-bit Python. If you already have 64-bit Python 3

Re: Can't compile Windows Missing sys/time.h
If that would be the only issue, it would be easy to fix.<br> Wait until you enter the use of `complex float x` etc. I.e. you have to use `gcc.exe`, not `cl.exe`.

Can't compile Windows Missing sys/time.h
Been at it for a few days and can't seem to get this to work. I got it going on Linux, but my Windows 10 machine(SDR PC) just can't get it. I have tried VS, MS Compiler, MinGW. Keep running into this

Re: Sidetone in SSB in Quisk 4.2.19 with HiQSDR and PTT in GUI
I can hear it out of the speakers. No fdx, just ordinary SSB simplex. I did not check if it's really sent out. Maybe it's just the Sidetone generator activated. I can just say with 4.2.13 it does not

I don't observe it. Do you see it on the screen and hear it when FDX is turned on? Or in another way?

Sidetone in SSB in Quisk 4.2.19 with HiQSDR and PTT in GUI
I noticed with 4.2.19, that if the PTT is pressed in the Quisk GUI in SSB mode now a Tone is generated (as in CW). This seems wrong and it does not happen with Quisk 4.2.13. I use HiQSDR hardware in

Re: An audio start-up hitch in 4.1.77 running on a Pi 400
No, there is no such option. You can try creating the null sink "QuiskDigitalInput" from portaudio, but I don't know how to do that. You are using version 4.1.77. The current Quisk version is 4.2.19,
