Here it is with time-stamps. WRT versions, though I don't trust my memory, I believe the old reliable Linux Mint 19.2 installation used hamlib 3.0 ! So, 4.0 was an upgrade when I moved everything to the RPi and installed the prepackaged version. If we ultimately conclude updating will fix it, it would be nice if the RPi package maintainer would do the update (fix it once, for everybody).
