Secondly, I have decided to withdraw from this list, that is, not subscribe
to the new one.

Other interests play a big part, but also the fact that most lists and NG's
repeat themselves. I have been around here almost from the beginning and
found much interesting and worthwhile information.
I have been around from the very beginning. And yes topics periodically
repeat themselves as new list members come on board. Sometimes the answers are
all the same, but sometimes, there is a new way of doing something or a different
point of view. I have picked up several new and better ways of weathering,as an
example of a repeated thread.

Personally, the amount of posts that I contribute to the list has decreased
over the last year. I have become more selective in what topics I'm interested
in and what topics I will reply to. I do use my delete button as needed. I
rather delete a thread then add to the number of replies.

As far as this list being moderated, thats nothing new. The fact that Bill
wishes to view each post before it is fowarded to the general list population,is

a noble attempt to keep non nscale topics off the list, and thus remove the
temptation for us to comment on them in a negative way. Each of us can recall
several threads that had very little to do with nscale, that refused to die even
after Bill requested that we stop posting to that particular thread.

If you send a post to the list that never reaches us,and you're sure that
Bill had deleted it,you can always email him as to why, if you feel strongly
about that topic. I know for a fact that Bill has always replied to my emails
promptly,no matter what the topic was.
