Long ago I was turned on to using sandpaper and pastel chalks.? Here is the set you need.

The cost is $7 and it will last you a lifetime.

Do not purchase the oil based chalks.

Thanks for the sources. The request was from a friend specifically wanting tamiya paints and powders [he likes them]. I’ll pass them on.

I started with chalks and pastels as a kid in the 70s out of necessity [nothing else around then and very cheap!]. Ive used them and other things over the years. Personally ive sort of become a doc obrien’s fan for their powders.
