What does this mean and can it be fixed?

I use a Karelia product called Sandvox - it¡¯s a web design tool. I am trying to access their forum on their web site but I get this message:

Is there anything I can do about it.

They do have a form to send questions too but after I fill out the form and hit send it just hangs there and eventually quits.

My guess¡

It likely means their server is borked. It seems they are using MySQL¡ªa relational database¡ªto keep track of forum messages and either it crashed, or the internal connection is misconfigured.

This seems like something they should notice and fix pretty quickly. You can¡¯t do anything about it except complain.

Thanks Lee. I think Karelia no longer supports Sandvox. Their web site does not mention any OS later than Mavericks. Their FB page doesn¡¯t have any posts past 2016.

I can open Karelia¡¯s Sandvox (a website development program) on my M1 Mac but I cannot open any of the previously created web sites. When I try to create a new site on the iMac, many of their templates do not work (some do). I think this is a program that has outlived it¡¯s time.

I maintain three web sites - a personal one, one for my high school class, and one for Kentucky Homefront, which is no longer broadcasting and I don¡¯t need to update it any more.

When I think about learning a new web development software app my brain freezes. I¡¯ve looked at Everweb but I just don¡¯t think I have the energy for it anymore.

I will continue to update the web pages I currently have on my 8 year old MacBook Air but when that dies, so will those web sites.

Unless there is a way to run a non M1 OS on my M1 iMac.

Thanks again Lee.

Ps - I found an email address for Karelia support but have not heard back from them and I don¡¯t really expect to.

Are John Gage and KY Homefront still going live?

No and I believe they do not rebroadcast any programs but I am not sure.
