开云体育How sad, Pen wrote me two weeks ago, knowing I’m into the markets, he had found a startup company that will compete with Bloomberg at a fraction of the cost, he was a good guy. ?Thanks Harry? On May 18, 2022, at 9:53 AM, Alex Whitman <alylex@...> wrote:

开云体育Alex, ? So very sorry to hear of Pen’s passing, I got to meet him a few years ago when he was giving away some old computer equipment and he gave me an external CD drive, refused to take any money for it. Very nice person. My prayers and sympathy to you and all Pen’s family. Will miss his posts in our group. ? God bless, Beth

开云体育Wow! Going down memory lane with the group from way back! Here are some other names that come to mind: Bill Micou, Bill Holt, Neal Hammon (Who I got to meet when he bought a used Mac from my company. He brought me a copy of his book, The Forgotten Ship in the Forgotten War about his time on the USS Helena, which was a funny and interesting read.), Steven Brown, Ward Oldham (I believe he worked for The Complete Mac and was always a valuable source of info.), Allan Atherton, Bryan Forrest, Ed Wiser, Stuart Unger and two of my favorites - Marta Edie and Ed Stivers. I loved the way those two could turn a phrase. Ed used to send out little daily emails and I really miss those since his passing. Hearing from them was a throw-back to a different era. ? I only ever met Ward and Neal in person, but everyone involved has shared so much valuable information over the years, I’d have been lost without each and every one! ? Beth

开云体育Beth - thank you for mentioning me. This has been a great group and I’ve learned much from many.?I always thought our logo should have won an award! I have saved some of the old newsletters from 2007 if no one minds me sharing… here’s July 2007. Has a review of Photoshop CS3. Bill Micou
