Dropbox beware

Harry Jacobson-Beyer All Messages By This Member #1289 I received an email purporting to be from Dropbox telling me my on file credit card was due to expire at the end of the month. I didn’t click the link in the email but rather went to my account through the web. My credit card isn’t due to expire till 2026. So I thought the email is obviously spam. Yet, the email address which sent the email <no-reply@...>has the same email address as legitimate emails I have received from dropbox. I don’t know what gives. Do any of you? Harry

It’s possible to send an email with any return address the sender wants. In the unlikely event you want an email from Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin, I can arrange it.
