I don¡¯t know any particulars but from what I¡¯ve read and from the discussions with the employees in the Louisville store they seem VERY happy with their income. Apple increased their pay package a few years ago and they were very happy. Some folks are never happy.

Yes. Interestingly, Jeff Jewel, who used to manage MacAuthority and SimplyMac owns and operates TechRestore. Some of his employees are also veterans of the St. Matthews store as well. Actually Jonathan two bit the dust. Stay Online on Shelbyville Road also closed on June 3rd. So that leaves Mac in a Snap (my company) and Tech Restore.

Haha, never heard of Stay Online. Sad. We used to speak of our Mac retailers in hushed and reverent tones. When the Apple Stores started popping up it was the beginning of the end for many. In many ways it was their own fault. It was time for a shake-up in the Mac retail world and Apple got it right with store branding every bit as good as that of their products. No longer were Macs sold in places that looked like your common garden variety computer stores, but in places worthy of being called APPLE Stores. Stores that get people to line up early in the morning for grand openings and new products; that get people to malls that are otherwise empty. That knows how to attract excitement for the PRODUCTS and not just free tickets for teen idol pop concerts like their competitors had to resort to. Good luck with your operation.
