PA0FRI, Silent Key Loop info

Pa0FRI has become a silent Key. Anyone using any of his loop amplifier designs? or data may well want to archive or save it before the web page disappears. There is also a lot of other general useful information his page.

That is very sad news.
?
Frits, PA0FRI, was a great experimenter, and I'll miss his project updates.
?
His S-Match ATU, in particular, is a great example of lateral thinking and innovation.
?
?
Fortunately, his website has already been snap shotted several times and archived on the wayback machine, so his legacy will live on. The last one was on the 28th of November 2024.

RIP

Yes, what a loss to Amateur Radio. Generously published many ingenious electronic circuits he developed and tested using clear diagrams and excellent photos. The PA designs and modifications to the EP-925 series of PSUs must have helped many people. Just to mention a few I have saved or used. RIP.
We are fortunate to have access to the wayback machine, thanks Martin for the link!

On the Internet Archive, the PA0FRI home page is displayed just fine for me, but if I try to go to any other internal page, I get an error message:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /Ant/antennes.htm on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

?

I wonder if anyone else is seeing the same thing.?

On some occasions, websites don't get fully snap shotted, and some weblinks will fail.
?
Try an image from a different date, as that often solves the problem.

You can use the 'wget' command (native on linux but available for windows) to backup an entire site:

$ wget -m

This results in a 160mb-ish archive.
Alternatively I can make the archive available if anyone prefers that.

Oh that is very sad news. Such a prolific experimenter too. I’m very sorry to hear that.
