Fellas, I've had my Aziloop since last Summer. I can 100% recommend it.
The sensitivity is great right up to 10 meters. I'm up there quite often
to check propagation. The circumference of my loops

Hi Rolf,
I have not tuned above the 16 meter band, but the HF reception lower than this band seems fine. I have mostly tuned from 90 meters to 19 meters, and have not felt the sensitivity was

Hy Guy,
I I also have an azi loop on my workbench and hope to install it in about 4-8 weeks.
Have you already been able to gain experience in the HF range (3-30 MHz)?
Maybe the loops should be a

Thanks for your first impressions, just as I suspected. By next week in Grayland, I'm sure the sun will have recovered and you'll be able to reap a good harvest from the Pacific. And with Perseus and

Yes, I've been please thus far with medium wave results. Besides the excellent nulling available 0-360 degrees of the compass, I am finding that nulls are generally broadbanded and

The whole construction is very solid and a good idea for the setup. Even though I plan to bury my radials underground because of the

Hi Simon,
I wouldn't exactly call it a hill, but just a slight slope. Still, I did take care to keep the elevated radials level. One one side of the antenna the radials are about one foot above

Re: Ferrite Loop - Error in schematic?
I think you are right. A 1K resistor between the coil and the pot wiper would probably correct this, and make for smoother adjustment.

Ferrite Loop - Error in schematic?
Hi all, I was looking for a simple design for a MW loop and came across this design in the file sections here...
However, upon closer examination there appears to be a fundamental problem in this

Re: Lw/ Mv and 160m.. which rx antenna?
Hi Simon,
If you cant install the mini-loop away from your TX antennas, despite its small size, then another option might be to de-resonate your TX ant and feeder on 160/other bands you operate to

Re: Lw/ Mv and 160m.. which rx antenna?
Hi Simon,
It seems to me that you need an antenna that:-
a) is as far away from your TX antennas as possible
b) is small enough to fit in space available
c) is not blocked by your house or pattern
