VARA.exe in Linux on a Chromebook (4GB RAM, 16GB eMMC)
开云体育Hi Jindra Not an expert on this so mainly thinking out loud.? I assume you space issue on the 16GB came from installing wine32
and the i386 linux architecture on top of the 64bit? (ie sudo dpkg
--add-architecture i386) There doesn't seem to be a wine64
dependency on the wine32 installation (in Debian) so maybe see if
wine32 ONLY can be installed? (assuming you don't want to run any
64bit Windows programs). WineHQ however has lots of useful info.
Maybe think about doing a manual strip of unused
applications/libraries first? Cheers Bob VK2YQA On 7/2/25 17:32, OK4RM via groups.io

Hi, Bob, I missed your answer and found it only now. What you propose is an interesting idea. So far I had the impression that wine32 requires wine (64-bit base) to be installed. I will ask someone at winehq or in a related forum. OTOH wine32?+ win32 architecture install libraries 64-bit version of which seem to be present anyway in the system (current Debian is 64-bit only IIRC). I think I need to be looking for 32-bit (i386) Linux, but I am afraid that has been long unavailable. 73 Jindra pá 7. 2. 2025 v?8:32 odesílatel Bob Cameron, VK2YQA via <bob3bob3=[email protected]> napsal:
