QSSTV - supporting multiple configurations
开云体育Hello Phil, Can QSSTV support multiple configurations? I can't find anything in the manual about it. Natively, no.. Qsstv doesn't offer any command line options to load different configurations.? That said, it shouldn't be hard to write a wrapper script to swap in/out different .config/ON4QZ/qsstv_9.0.conf config files to emulate supporting different configurations.? Btw, all the documentation, FAQs, etc can be found here:?? --David KI6ZHD 73 Phil GM3ZZA |
开云体育Hi Phil Have been using it for years and never saw that it can. The config file though is in $HOME/.config/ON4QZ, so with some pre/post scripting maybe with changeable symlinks it would be easy to have more than one setup. Running two or more instances concurrently might be a little more difficult though. Cheers Bob VK2YQA On 7/2/25 08:47, Philip Rose, GM3ZZA

Thanks David 'ZHD and Bob 'YQA for replying. I had hoped there might have been a QT default switch that hadn't been documented in the QSSTV manual.
I had already managed to find ON4QZ's new host.?
With regard to the solution, currently I am only using QSSTV with my HF transceiver so don't need to use multiple rigs... ...Yet. It's just I like to have all my operation controlled by my homebrew dashboard cum logging program. I am already using a script
to connect the audio correctly to QSSTV by setting the default pulseaudio connections at the time of invocation.
73 Phil?
