Pi Ethernet problem

 

Pi-5 with Pineberry BOT card and Crucial NVMe.? Can't connect well to the Internet or upgrade.? Using Ethernet and it works OK with my Pi-4b.
?
Up grade is slow and times out.
Please see error message attached,? I don't understand this message.

Hello John,

What version of the Raspberry Pi OS are you running?? I see that you're logged in as the user "pi" which has been deprecated for a long time.? Considering this might an old OS, I'm surprised it even boots on a Pi5 which require much newer OSes.? If it's a newer OS like Bookworm, search for this and there are several ideas given:

?? raspberry pi "could not get lock" held by process "packagekitd"
