#flrig 2.0.05 Pi3 PTT-GPIO menu?
#flrig
I just installed FLrig 2.0.05 on a Pi3B+ running Bullseye.? WiringPi is also installed, and the gpio command works.?
?
My previous FLrig (1.3-ish) had a PTT-GPIO configuration panel.? It didn't work for me, but I had hopes it might in this new version.? The panel is missing altogether in the new version.? I can select Config > Setup > PTT-GPIO, but it just takes me to a similar menu lacking the GPIO option. ?
?
Anybody have some knowledge / wisdom to share?
?
Thanks,
Eric |

No change with alpha.? In response to your first reply, I don't think I confused flrig with fldigi.? Section 3.1.4 of the flrig manual talks about the PTT-GPIO option, http://www.w1hkj.com/alpha/flrig/flrig_help.pdf, and shows the menu that I believe I used in the 1.3-ish version.
?
I'm not clear about how flrig is supposed to be aware of the gpio command in the WiringPi package.? I can run gpio as a command and the gpio pins obey.? For flrig, do I need to start a daemon process, or compile flrig with the WiringPi library, or does flrig just fail if I ask it to set a pin and gpio isn't present in the system?
?
Thanks much for your help,
Eric
