You could try running it from a console and seeing what error messages
you see when you start winkeyer, might give you a clue.
Otherwise, if you are using Linux, is to run it under gdb and see if
you can get a backtrace to show the function calls up to the point
where it fell over.
If you're not familiar with these steps then we can probably talk you
through it.
