first, thank you for this software!

I have recently purchased the Kenwood TS590S and found that the SWR and
ALC values are not being read by the FLRig. So I have gone through the
source and found the problem. When reading the rigs response, program is
reading only 8 bytes of data whereas it should read 24 bytes for the
whole string that the transciever returns.

Anyway, I have just made the sourceforge account and I would like to ask
you what is the best way for you to examine the git change log and maybe
include it in the next release?

I have built the flrig against these changes and can confirm it works
for the TS590S. I have also made changes for the TS590SG which I believe
works the same way regarding the SWR and ALC data but I do not have
access to the TS590SG rig so I can test and confirm.

Also, attached to this message is the git diff so you can review here also.

Please do add me for the repo as I will most likely do some further work.
One other thing that I would like to have changed is the acctual way that these readings, at least for the TS590x series, are polled, in time sense. As the TS responds with SWR,ALC & PROC data at once, so the responsivnes of the meters can be faster. Also to add the PROC meter etc.. Most likely I will bother you with some questions :)

For now, please include these changes in the next release yourself so others can benefit and later I will get back to you for your directions on which branches to work etc.
