RT600 Calibration Procedure #z-11

I have the RT600 remote tuner which I just replaced a burnt relay and would like to perform a calibration procedure prior to putting it back into service.

Can anyone provide me the calibration procedure for the RT600 or the RT100. I have seen a generic procedure in the files section but I prefer the one that addresses all adjustments on the circuit board assembly.

Thank you, K5PA, Gene

I don¡¯t have an answer for you, but just another question.? Changing a RELAY requires a RECALIBRATION on the RT-600??

I doubt that changing a relay would require recalibration.
At worst the unit has to have the memory cleared so that the attempts to tune with the correction switched in by the relay would be incorrect.?
The software would assume the value of the correction in it's basic programming.?
Even without clearing the memory at the next retune the solution would be stored for that frequency.

it is an original unit and with the board being worked on the bench, some of the controls on the PCBA might have been altered (unknown). Hence, if there is a procedure I would like to use it to calibrate and verify the correct functionality. It is being proactive since the tuner is opened and on the bench, that is the time to do it.?

If someone has the procedure, please let me know here or via direct messaging.

Thank you,

Gene

in? the files section of this group is file called? "LDG tech notes" it is zip file ...in here is method for calibration which only address swr calibration\
BUT
swr is what drives auto tune function...

hope that helps

I have an LDG 600 ProII. I had it in manual?mode which I had to retune everytime I changed bands. This worked well for me. Reading the service manual I learned how to put it in automatic mode. I did that and changed swr from 1.7 to 2.0. The rf activates the tuner. Unbelievable how good that works! Now I can work spots on 40 then go to 10 and do the same thing. It produces a full 600 watts on all frequencies. It works the complete 10 m band.
