¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWhich tuner do you have? Which rig are you going to use?? Sorry I am a bit late to this thread and I have not read previous posts... But in my tuner manuals there was the wiring diagram for the cable. I have a feeling that the cable you are after is probably very simple to construct from TRS mini plugs and a short piece of cable... Micky K1XH ?

The tuner is an AT-100ProII.? The transceiver is a Yaesu FT-450D.? The interface cable that LDG sells for this combination is the Y-ACC-2.? At the tuner side the cable uses a 3.5mm stereo TRS plug.? At the rig side it uses a mini DIN-10 plug.? The cable has not been in stock for some months.

T-ACC-2 cable pinout:?
The 3.5mm TIP (_KEY) on the tuner goes to pin 10 (TX-REQ) on the LINEAR receptacle. The 3.5mm SLEEVE (GND) on the tuner goes to pin 3 (GND) on the LINEAR receptacle.? The 3.5mm SLEEVE (_START) on the tuner is not connected,?so you will have to press the button on the tuner to start the tuning process.? The benefit of using the control cable is the transceiver TX-REQ signal will cause the Yaesu transceiver to reduce power automatically while tuning.? The LDG tuner manuals warn to never apply more than 10 watts while tuning, otherwise arcing of the opening inductor relay contacts will wear them out fast.? ? |
