Re: Any good trouble shooting articles?
You’ll find the schematics under the file section, and tubes and has caps. You may not find the exact values but they’re close. On Thu, Mar 16, 2023 at 5:10 PM Kent K9EZ <kwinrich@...> wrote:

Hi Roy, I just found out and wanted to let you know that after looking at the data the decision was made to makethe current change permanent on our high-powered tuners for safety reasons. The interface and meter port on all our high-powered tuners will now be disabled. I hope that this helps. Thanks again and I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, Mark Roy *KW4G* On 3/15/2023 2:06 PM, Manuel Maseda wrote:
I have been told by LDG this is not true. All 1000 tuners support the M-1000 meter. ?Have you been told otherwise by LDG? |

Any good trouble shooting articles?
Kent K9EZ
I am working at reviving? 600 and 1000 Pro II tuners.? The 1o00 just has some fried Caps.?? The 600 has fried caps and I need to change out a cap near the bridge.? Weird? is that it is still not showing any power through the bridge to the meter and sice the bridge is not seeing anything the tuner will not tune. ANYWAY.... are there any good troubleshooting articles out there.? A search on this group yields only one article ?Thank you in advance! Kenty K9EZ |

Almost New AT-600 Pro II For Sale $340
I bought this unit to use at the base of my 20' flagpole antenna when I was unsuccessful at bidding on three separate times on eBay for an RT-600.? It was purchased December 24, 2022 and was installed in mid-January.? Last month I bought an RT-600 on here and replaced it.
The AT-600 worked as advertised, I just wanted the RT-600 to install outside.? While in use outside it was enclosed in a Tupperware container which was under a fake rock adjacent to my flagpole.? It shows no signs of being used outdoors and when I replaced it with the RT-600 the RT-600 performed exactly as did the At-600.? This is no surprise since the schematics of the tuner part appear identical.? I connected it via a 4-conductor cable to the tuner port on my Icom 756 Pro III.? Change bands, hit the tune button, ready to go. I noted in posts on here about some memory tine oddities which I now attribute to the use of the 20' Flagpole far from resonance on any band as noted in the LDG manuals.? The AT-600 is actually a little more convenient to use as it works with the 756 tune button while the RT-600 does not, at least not without building and installing a tuner emulator (which I haven't tried yet). LDG warranties their tuners for two years and the warranty is transferable.? I will provide a copy of my order information proving purchase of the unit on December 24th. I am asking $340 shipped CONUS. Al K5TAN e-mail address in QRZ.com |
Re: LDG m-1000 meter
开云体育Yes the owner told me personally that the port on the tuners built after October 2021 that the port for the meter was disabled, that's why my meter would not work?one the new replacement they sent me. So I sold it and got a older 1000 and it worked on a tuner made before October 2021.

Re: LDG m-1000 meter
开云体育That is great James. ?I have looked at Palstar Auto Tuners too. ?I do have a manual Palstar and it tunes wires, zepps, verticals, everything I have thrown at it. ?Solid state amps are not forgiving of high VSWR like old "valve" or tube amps as called in the USA so its good insurance to know what the amp sees at the tuner. ?Wavenode-2 also has 4 inputs so you can add couplers and monitor other equipment. Cheers, 73 and great DX! Phil, WI5O On Mar 15, 2023, at 13:59, James Sawle (MD0MDI) <james@...> wrote:

Re: LDG m-1000 meter
Hi Phil,
I posted on here months ago as I was just getting blank answers the top dealers over here, I emailed LDG and got no replies so as it happens I had given up and ordered my second choice which was a Palstar, I wish someone would have told me earlier I could have saved some money, that said I am happy with my choice now and it has managed to tune everything I have thrown at it so far. Re: #Z-817 random behavior when tuning
#Z-817
I use the Z817 with my FT817 and the LDG supplied cable and all works fine.? I use the TUNE button on the Z817 to force the tuning.? I do have the control cable supplied by LDG for the FT817.

Dear ALL, as an update about this topic: I returned the unit to WIMO, where I bought the device. They checked it out with a FT-818 ND that they had and made a video. I truned put that the device functioned without a problem during the bench test. After return of the device I checked again with a new cable that they included. Same problem as described in the first post here with my TRX. That leaves the possibility that the problem lies with my TRX. I was not able to check that out yet. But I will try my tuner with the FT-818 of a friend. I will leave a report after the test.? Very frustrating though 73 -thomas |
Re: LDG m-1000 meter
开云体育My AT-1000pro works fine with the M-1000 meter (I own one) but I installed a Wavenode-2 and its software between the amplifier output and tuner also to make sure I get accurate readings (+- 5%) and that places me at a bit more ease. ? I am going to test and see how accurate the M-1000 meter is compared to the Wavenode-2 soon.?Phil, WI5O? On Mar 15, 2023, at 13:44, Emory Haines WM3M <wm3m73@...> wrote:

Re: LDG m-1000 meter
开云体育I just bought new AT-1000proII
couple weeks ago from Gigaparts and the meter port works with
the USB device LDG use to sell and it also works with the
software for their tuners with meter ports.? I have tested it
and it works.? This would suggest the port probably still
works with the meter but I do not have meter to test with. 73 Emory? WM3M On 3/15/2023 2:32 PM, James Sawle

I tried for ages to get an answer from anyone in the UK regarding the 1000 Tuner and the Meter, After months of waiting I got an e-mail out of the blue stating that it would only work with the old 100 tuners and not the new one, so I saved a bit and went for the PalStar |
