Re: AT--1000ProII remote operation problem
Glad you got it going. I wish Yaesu would do it the same as Icom but Yaesu has always been fiercely independent on their firmware almost to a fault.

n5kbp Marty, thanks so much! ?I just tried your instructions and it works fb.... ?I was trying to make it too complicated. ?My only experience was using remote on Icom equipment and that calls for

Re: AT--1000ProII remote operation problem
John, Thanks. ?Just to be clear you first push the FT-710 tune button and then push the ProII button? ?I haven't tried that since my Icom rigs don't require the ProII button to be pushed.

Re: AT--1000ProII remote operation problem
I have exact same setup and it works great for me. Just a medium touch of the tune button on the tuner and it signals the radio to key a carrier until it's tuned.

AT--1000ProII remote operation problem
My FT-710 will not tune my AT-ProII when connected with the ldg-y-acc remote cable. ?The tuner works fine manually or with my Icom 7610 connected remotely. ? Any ideas? ?Stephen n0bf

Test the impedance with the test leads connected both ways. An electrolytic capacitor or reverse polarity diode can look like a direct short. Al K5TAN Sent: Saturday, July 20, 2024 2:02 PM To:

Re: RT-100 has a Dead Short
Actually, LDG is pretty good about service and removing the unit is the easiest task. If they have to fix or replace the cables or connecors on the tower, that will be a whole lot like real work. So,

Thanks everyone for the responses. I should have mentioned that the RT-100 is tower-mounted, so checking it at the unit is problematic for me. Mike Z.'s response is what I was expecting to see toward

I looked at both connectors (with no cables attached)? on my operating RT-100. Either polarity of the leads show an open circuits. There was a time-constant variation of resistance? on the connector

also, if you have a dummy load, the rc-100 can be checked with that and the swr meter Dave Garber VE3WEJ / VE3IE [email protected]> wrote:

Re: RT-100 has a Dead Short
Many (most?) antennas measure like a short if you measure them with a DC voltmeter.? That is to be expected. You must use an SWR meter or VNA or similar instrument, and do the measurement

RT-100 has a Dead Short
Hello All - I have an RT/RC-100 combo that has worked very well for about 3 months feeding it with an ICOM 7600 barefoot at 100 watts. Now the RC-100 status light blinks. In checking, I see a dead

Further to my previous email regarding my AT-1000 pro II, not only has the Antenna # 1 position failed but I had to pull it out of service and replace it with my Z-II Pro II as it was not functioning

Had the same issue years ago with an old AT1000PRO. The contacts on the ant relay have failed. Contact Mark or Dwayne at support@....? Not that hard to change out. Marty N5KBP
