Hi,

You need to understand.

Free Virus Programmes do not update for free users the same as paid programmes.

BUY a virus programme.

Then I wouldn’t be getting all the spam from sites like this.

I do not know if your answer is for me. If so, would you please tell me why you assume that I am using the free version of Avast?

Anyway, since a screenshot has been provided (signed AD7GR) showing the display of a running software, it can be valuable to get the full info about it.

LDG AT-200 Pro II 6M Signal kiss

Hello all.?

I have the 200 Pro on my Yaesu FT-991A and everything seems to be working well with one exception.?

When I’m on 6M the tuner seems to be attenuating the signal. While I’m in bypass mode I can pick up signals but when I switch back to the tuner and tune up the signals are lost.?

I’m sure it’s a learning curve but I’m not sure what would cause it. Hoping someone here might have an idea.?

Thank you and 73!

Hello Claude,

Trying to follow the posts lately has me totally confused... but maybe that's just me.?? Many do not include a snippet to what they are referring, who they are responding to, and many with callsigns don't sign with them so it's hard for me to figure it all out.?? I'm just getting old I guess.

This post includes my callsign but when I searched for the posts I have made the only one found with a screenshot was in response to Angel, EA4GIG.?? What is surprising to me is that although it is attached to my response, I did not attach it.?? I am unable to translate it.?? You might give Angel a call.

Hi, this is why that w10 defender restrict ?execution powershell scripts by default. More over antivirus progs do the same. I’m usuing Free AVIRA () and made an exclusion for this prog and it runs without issues. The default settings of powershell executionpolicy is : Restricted. You may run in powershell command to check current executionpolicy by the command “Get-executionpolicy”, usually recspond is

“PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> get-executionpolicy

?

Unrestricted

?

To change executionpolicy you can run

?

“PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope CurrentUser -ExecutionPolicy UnRestricted”

And prog should run.

?

P.S. As this is the first release of prog I’ll try to sign prog my certificate of authority to avoid restriction. But not now as I’m going to add some features ti it.

Dear Niel:

?

The image I uploaded a few days ago is my current remote control setup.

?

I understand and share your concern regarding free software.

?

However, LINUX, VLC, Ham Radio Deluxe (V5.xxx), SRD Console, and many other programs are freely distributed by their developers.

?

Regarding the program that you see in my screenshot, it refers to a publication of the HITHUB that I leave below.

?

?

Here is the source code of this application.

?

Of course we would all be happier if the same development came from the same manufacturer.

?

Unfortunately LDG has not yet supplied this solution, which allows us to control the tuner remotely.

?

When I requested this application from LDG, they replied that they were working, and that it would be available fall 2020.

?

I hope it is true and we can all enjoy our teams without fear.

?

At the moment I have no other solution but to continue working with this program, which works really well.

?

?

Att,

LDG AT100ProII Memory

Dear all
I have one doubt and I hope somebody could help me.
The at100pro2 has 2000 memories to store the match setup.
About the memories: does it store frequency and match setup?
About the frequency: What is the resolution? I mean: if I match at 7.123.40, what it stores? 7.123.40? 7.123.4? 7.123? 7.12?
Why I ask this? Because I would like to setup all the possible matching at the different frequencies I usually use to have a quick response. Depending the resolution I can store more or less frequencies and to avoid the "dancing relays".
Thks!!!!

Reset AT100ProII

Dear all
I have checked the user manual but I have not find any information about how to reset the ay100pro2 memories.
I want to reset it because some times at usually frequency I used before it starts to match again and I know I used before and the threshold was not at the limit. I have the threshold at 1.5 and when I adjust the antenna I manually adjust it to less user it it stops at 1.5.
Other possible problem.could be the antenna or the swr network at the at100pro2 but I have not detected anything in this way.
Regards

Re: Reset AT100ProII

Hi Pedro,

I asked LDG about this a few years ago and was told that with the AT-100ProII there is no reset for the tuner - they found no need for it. This is different from the 100/200 Pro tuners which could be reset with a power on button push.

AT100PRO tunes all the time

AT100PRO and IC7300 combo, with LDG interface cable initiates a tune cycle in bypass and semi auto setting. Also noted the SWR scale on the tuner was reading "over" while the radio's read 1.5/1. Hmm. The ferrites now weigh more than the radio, and the same effects occurred. Then, I disconnected one antenna. The problems almost disappeared. Most of the time, it doesn't initiate a cycle when in semi or bypass, and the SWR readings are a tad lower.
I checked and snugged all the internal and external screws on the tuner. Nope. New cables with crimp/solder connectors, nope.
Antennas are a 160 inverted ell, CMCs at feedpoint and cable entrance and a ZS6BKW, with 1/1 current balun. These are about 50 feet apart.
Anyone successfully cured this kind of trouble?
Mike N3PM

Z100+ tunes but AT200 Pro will not???

I this basic set up for my stealth antenna in my HOA neighborhood. (Diagram below)

I can tune 80m thru 6m with my Z100+. ?But, I was tired of manually having to hit the tune button on the Z100+ and I came across an excellent deal on at AT200 Pro (not the Pro II).

The Pro-II worked fine on 40m-10, bit it cannot find a match on 80m nor on 6m. I emailed LDG and while they responded to every email, they could offer no reason why the PRO II could not find a low SWR solution, while the Z100+ can.?

Their advice was, "It's obvious the Z-100Plus has enough range and the 200 doesn't. But the schematics says they have about the same range. The contradicting info can't be used.?

Maybe try one of those extra-wide MFJ auto tuners. "

While I admire any company that suggests looking into their?competitor's?products, I'm hoping?this?group will have some other ideas or?options?to try?

John,

FYI... 65' is a length to be avoided for an end fed wire antenna since it will result in high impedance at your matching unit.?? Helpful references are: , , and ? If you have space then 70-72' would be much better for 80-10M or reduce it to 60' for 40-10M.

Don’t feel limited by making the wire a straight run. I have a mobile home and a 117’ end fed exactly as yours is setup with the 9:1.

I also have a 1:1 where the coax connects to the 9:1 and another 1:1 where it feeds into my house.

The closest example of the shape is a question mark with the bottom running along the peak of my roofline!

I have an at100ProII and it tunes every band 630 to 6 meters – at least on the digital frequencies.

AT-7000 not storing in memory and radio tune command issues

Hello,

I got a used LDG AT-7000 autotuner to use with my Icom IC-718.? The previous owner added a manual tune button to it by connecting a button to the pins on the radio port.? Otherwise no obvious modifications other than holes drilled in the case to access the inside expert button and to see the LED.

When I first used it, it did not work with the tune button on my radio, however, the inside expert button did start a tune cycle.? I fixed this problem by adding a jumper wire to connect the tune pin from the radio port to the expert button, essentially making it so when the radio requested a tune (or the added manual button was pushed) it was as though the expert button was pushed.? This works, but does anyone have any idea what might cause tuning to not work without my jumper wire to the expert button or any pointers on where to look for damage on the circuit board (there is nothing obvious).

My second and more important problem is that the tuner does not seem to be utilizing its memory.? Every tune is a long full tune.? From watching the LED, it seems that tune settings are simply not stored, either because it isn't trying to store them or because there are old settings already stored in the memory and it doesn't get a better match.? I have done a full reset to clear the memory, and the LED indicates the tuner performs the reset, however, the problem still persists.? My experience is the same with or without the jumper wire modification I mentioned previously.? Any ideas on how to diagnose and fix this problem?

An inconvenience related to the full tuning cycle is that when the tune is in progress, the radio becomes unresponsive to CAT control.? I have my radio set to tune when transmitting if not already tuned, so when I forget to hit the tune button myself after changing bands and the I start transmitting from my computer my software throws a fit and needs to be reset.? Just something I'd like to stop working around and think will be solved by fixing the memory issue.

Is either of these common issues with this tuner?? Is there a full schematic of the board floating around somewhere?? If I had that I could more easily poke around and try to find the fault without tracing everything on the board and drawing up my own schematic.

Thanks,
Brad N3WCC
